My biggest issue with landscapers is that they didn't listen so when I first contacted Jeffery that's what I told him. He not only listened but has become a family friend. Their work is beautiful, professional and they spent a huge amount of time with us reviewing drawings asking us questions to make sure they got it right. They stand behind their work. I was invited to go out to wholesale nursery and actually choose and tag plants. It has been amazing from start to finish and we are now ready to do the backyard. Our house looks so amazing that we have people driving by and slowing down to take pictures! Couldn't be more pleased. Jeffrey organized a run to Houston (to help the victims of Harvey) and we sent almost $9000.00 of goods including water, dog food, diapers, formula and more on their landscaping trucks. Jeffrey drove the truck down and back in one day. We took some pictures. He and his company are amazing people.

My husband and I are so happy with the work Jeff did in our backyard. He came up with such an awesome design after talking with us. His attention to detail and professionalism throughout the entire project is second to none. I highly recommend Jeff and his crew!

Earlier this year I approached Jeff about helping us with our yard. Over the last couple of years several plants in the front yard had died. We were also having some rainwater runoff issues. Jeff and I agreed on a budget based on other similar projects he had done. He produced drawings based on our wish list and his expertise. He modified the plans until we were happy. The removal and installation crew was friendly and hard working. We felt like they worked quickly and did an awesome job. The result is that our front yard is beautiful. We have had neighbors that we don't know compliment the landscape when they walk by.

Working with Jeff and Alterra to transform our front landscaping was a delight, and the results exceeded every expectation we had of how the finished design would look. His selection of plant sizes, colors, and varieties were terrific. His use of boulders and river rocks were the perfect accents to the project. Jeff was easy to work with, explained the care needs for each type of plant, and 6 months later it looks like we have always had beautiful landscaping. We are so happy we found Jeff and his team to redo our small backyard, which included taking down 2 huge trees. Jeff listens and very tactfully orients our suggestions (because sometimes they are unrealistic :p-) when necessary. From the initial planning to on-time delivery we felt confident and very comfortable. We love our new backyard!

Jeff and his team did a fantastic job creating the perfect mid-century modern, front yard - all with water and sun-friendly, low water / low maintenance plants. We met with him once and he has was able to translate our style and decor inside our home and extend it to the front or our home. The work took less than a week and his team were professionals and they care and take pride in the work that they do. I can't wait to do phase 2!

I engaged Jeff to completely re-do my front landscape. It looks absolutely amazing! My home is new construction and had builder grade landscaping. Jeff has a great design "eye" and I believe has added value to my house. His team was very professional and so easy to work with. They cleaned the area each night before they left. The project was completed on time and within budget. I will be engaging Jeff again for the backyard.

I found my forever home but the yard looked like a wild jungle!!!! I searched and found Jeff, told him what I wanted and POOF! My dream house had a dream yard! He listens. He keeps you up to date. The workmen are fantastic! I started with the backyard. New deck, new fence, landscape. Couple of months later we fixed up the front. My neighbors can't stop talking about it. Jeff is fantastic. He is very creative and knowledgeable about his craft. We weren't exactly sure what we were looking for, but Jeff sat with us, listened to our ideas, and in just a few days our thoughts were on paper, but in a way we never could have imaged on our own. My wife and I recently worked with Jeff and Alterra to design and build a new deck and patio. Our previous deck was old and very unsafe for our son to play on. Jeff and his team were very easy to work with and Jeff's main goal was to ensure our satisfaction. The final project came out great!

Jeff and Alterra redesigned our backyard and pool area and it is absolutely perfect! Throughout the project, Jeff was easy to get a hold of and readily addressed any concerns we had. His unique design aesthetic created a gorgeous oasis for our family. We are so happy with the work he and his crew did that we plan on working with them again when renovating our front yard.

Per my request, Jeffrey did a full-blown deluxe design for my front landscape which included shrubs, large decorative pots, flowers, sod, flagstone walkway, rocks, trees, boulders, lighting, and a couple interesting sculptures. Jeffrey was flexible and worked with me to determine a phased approach that I plan on completing in the near future. Most of the work has already been done and it looks great.

One of the most interesting parts of the job was the dive rock(s) for my swimming pool. I gave Jeffrey an idea what I was looking for and he searched several rock yards until he found the right rocks. He sent pictures and then we met at the rock yard for final selection and approval. He coordinated a crane to lift the rocks over my fence and place on my pool deck. They look fantastic.

I found these guys working in the neighborhood while jogging… I needed some serious work done on my front yard, including a retaining wall. Talked to Jeff on the job they were working on near by and he dropped by later that day… we made a plan and these guys executed with brilliance on time and on budget!!

What I loved most is all the guys working on the job seemed really happy to be working and doing what they do, I like good energy around me.

Easy from start to finish. After an initial design consultation and a few revisions to the original plan we landed on a design and plan that we were all excited about. A one day demo and installation was all it took for our yard to look better than it ever has. We had a party a few weeks later where we received so many compliments on it that it reassured us that it was money well spent. Thanks for all the help Jeff!

Jeffery and his team are fantastic to work with. We put in a butterfly garden that is about 20′ wide by 50′ long. The design was beautiful with the plants aligned with the type of butterflies typically found in the area. The execution of the design turned out stunning and was completed on time as well. We will use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Jeffery and his crews were great. My partner and I had some ideas on what we wanted the backyard of our townhouse to look like, and they delivered. We didn't want any grass - our new backyard would have a pergola, flagstone, xeriscape landscaping, and heat-tolerant plants and a tree. Jeffery took our ideas and gave us so much more. In addition to what we wanted, he added decomposed granite as the base for the flagstone, low-voltage lighting, and two decorative screens for a little pizzazz. The project was challenging - we lost about 2 weeks due to the February rain in DFW - but his crews worked hard when the weather permitted, and turned what had been an ugly pass-through to our carport to usable outdoor living space. The most important thing to us was that of the firms we interviewed, Jeffery listened to us - he understood what we wanted and what it would take to get there. We're extremely pleased with the results and can't wait to entertain family and friends in our new space. We highly recommend Jeffery and his crews.

Jeff with Alterra is awesome! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the job that he and his team did for our home. Great job. Rain cased some delays but they were overcome. Jeff from Alterra created the backyard from design to execution with our involvement from a vision we had which we were able to verbalize. Personally seeing and picking out the individual plants with the owner of the company was an example of the personal attention we received. It was my wife's project and she acted as Project Manager. But I got the majestic palm tree that I wanted!
