The backyard now works as a natural extension of the interior living areas, with cooking, seating, and fire features placed for easy daily use.

A handcrafted cedar pergola defines the outdoor kitchen while providing warmth, texture, and architectural character. Beneath it, a custom limestone grilling station combines a premium gas grill with a built-in Big Green Egg, giving the homeowners the versatility to grill, smoke, roast, or bake for any occasion.

The adjacent covered patio centers around a custom outdoor fireplace featuring a substantial hand-hewn rustic timber mantel that anchors the seating area and creates a welcoming focal point during cooler North Texas evenings. The fireplace gives the patio a sense of permanence, turning the space into an outdoor room rather than a simple backyard seating area.

Natural Oklahoma flagstone, native boulder accents, and thoughtfully selected drought-tolerant plantings soften the outdoor space while complementing the home's architecture.
